GREEN POINT

Province : Western Cape

Area : Green point

Area Description

This affluent suburb of Cape Town has recently become a popular choice for Capetonians to not only live but also to conduct business from. Being geographically limiting (nestled between the slope of signal hill and the ocean) the area is incredibly exclusive especially when it comes to commercial real estate. Situated next door to Cape Town’s City Centre and the start of the Atlantic Seaboard which houses the continent’s most expensive residential real estate, Green Point is wonderfully located and very central in relation to Cape Towns hub. Being home to the Cape Town Stadium, the suburb has enjoyed huge amounts of investment since the FIFA World Cup in 2010 and is aesthetically one of Cape Towns’ most pleasing suburbs.

Rental Rates

The location of Green Point coupled with its clean, well-maintained feel means that office space is slightly more expensive than your average area. With asking prices of up to 900 thousand rand for over 5000 sqm of office space to over 20 thousand rand for just over 100 sqm, commercial property is expensive yet in demand due to the limited available stock. With just over 150 vacancies,  Green Point offers very limited options to find your dream office space. It does however offer a second to none lifestyle that would fulfil any companies’ employees wants and needs making it a highly sought-after Cape Town commercial hub.
