From Brokerage to Proptech Pioneers
In 2014, we launched our first Proptech product, expecting quick market adoption, but landlords were more interested in property sales than the platform itself. This led to a strategic pivot, where we shifted to using our technology internally, transforming into a brokerage specialising in portfolio sales and leveraging our platform for efficient transactions.
Adapting to an Evolving Market
During this phase, we gained crucial insights and had the opportunity to refine our system’s capabilities. We began to see that the potential of our technology extended far beyond our internal operations—it could be a game-changer for the broader property industry. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the critical role technology plays in every business sector.
Introducing Quoin Technologies
As we continued to evolve, our experience in the brokerage space became invaluable. We gained a deeper understanding of the needs, frustrations, and pain points of both owners and brokers. This allowed us to develop products not just as software developers but as users. Rather than simply digitising existing processes, we focused on improving them.
